Job Summary
The Research Technician follows standard procedures regarding procurement, receiving and inventory management. This position acts as a safety liaison and ensures proper equipment maintenance. In addition, the research technician assists with laboratory research and data processing as necessary.
What We're Looking For
Education and Experience Required:
- Associate’s degree in Biological Sciences or Chemistry
- A minimum of six (6) months of laboratory research experience in the same fields required
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered
Skills Required:
- Standard molecular biology techniques (SDS-PAGE, Western blot, buffer preparation), bacterial cell culture, familiarity with cryo-electron tomography data
